Safe Sitter

The Safe Sitter Class is open to anyone 11 years or older, who want to learn the important aspects of babysitting as well as have the confidence to take action when necessary. The program includes injury prevention & management, care of a choking child, safety for the sitter, childcare essentials, behavior management and babysitting as a business. A pediatrician wrote the curriculum and the class is taught by a trained instructor. The class will have a low ratio of students to instructor.

Due to Covid protocols, during the CPR will be demonstrated with no breaths. There will not be a lunch break, but participants can bring a snack and a water bottle.

Maximum class size: 12 students

A parent or guardian must sign a consent form at the beginning of class. If you cannot attend, please print the form below and send in a signed copy with your child.
