ACT Prep Course

Please note the class dates/times are as follows:

Sun July 10 2:00-5:15pm (please arrive 10 minutes early for first class)
Mon July 11 2:00-4:00pm
Tue July 12 2:00-4:00pm
Wed July 13 2:00-5:15pm
Thu July 14 2:00-4:00pm

Students are also asked to bring a pencil and calculator to class.

Students taking this course will learn ways to manage the test and pick up tips which will help them achieve higher scores. This 5-day course is for those students getting ready to take the ACT for the first time or those who have already taken the ACT, but want to improve their scores. Students will get intense English and Math instruction, as well as Science and Reading strategies in this class. This course is perfect for those planning on taking the July 16 ACT test.

The 5-day prep course is taught by Yale University graduate Greg Owens. He has been successfully preparing students for the ACT since 2000. After taking and reviewing dozens of ACT tests, he has recognized patterns in the test that allow students to pick up easy points. He not only teaches these patterns and other standard test-taking strategies, but he also focuses on developing the underlying skill set that the ACT aims to measure.

The class will be held in the Community Room located in the Ottawa Hills Elementary School.

The school address is 3602 Indian Road, Ottawa Hills, however, the entrance to the parking lot is on Manchester Drive (for GPS purposes, the closest address for the parking lot entrance is 2355 Manchester Dr). Please note, the parking lot is a one way entrance (off of Manchester) and one way exit (on to Indian). Click HERE for a map.

Once parked, proceed to the covered entrance that is at the end of the long sidewalk (on the right when facing the building). Use door #5 for entrance.
