Do you have a kid that loves to bake and would like to take their skills to the next level? This is the class for them! This 5 day camp will include hands-on learning and fun while young bakers gain a variety of baking and decorating skills they will be able to use in the future.
Participants will receive a mini decorating set so they can practice at home.
Each day will focus on a different baked good and decorating techniques:
Day 1: Cupcakes
Learn to create filled cupcakes and decorate the final creations with fun frosting techniques.
Day 2: Cookies
Mix, roll, cut and bake cutout cookies and decorate using outlining and flooding methods.
Day 3: Cakes
Decorate cakes while learning how to smooth a cake and add piped border, rosette flowers and other festive decorations.
Day 4: Cakesicles
Learn how to make cakesicles (cake pop popsicles) which are a fun twist on a traditional cake pop. Once out of the mold, use your creativity to decorate the cakesicles any way you wish.
Day 5: Gourmet Donuts
These will not be your average donuts! Bake and decorate these gourmet treats with fun textures and unexpected combinations using skills learned during the week.
Maybe some of the delicious treats will even make their way home!
